  14. p.320 of the book EDIE by MCA heiress Jean Stein and Paris Review editor
  15. George Plimpton (hard cover Alfred A. Knopf 1982) is a reproduction of a
  16. publicity poster for the 1960's Andy Warhol film CIAO! MANAHATTAN. Edie
  17. Sedgwick looking angelic is looking skywards - above her are the words
  18. "Speed.Madness.Flying Saucers"
  19. Edie was long dead by 1982. I became physically and emotionally involved
  20. with her sister Suky in 1981. The 1960's plot of the film CIAO!MANHATTAN is
  21. strange in that it is a precognition of my own actual affair with Suky in
  22. the 1980s - including the "men in black" types in limosines.
