Whoa, there. Your making some assumptions that I don't think are true. I've been in a friendship where I knew that although I liked the person as a friend, I would never love them as a SO. I can neither explain it nor defend it. I was being trueful when I told him that I liked him as a friend, but I knew I would never love him. I've also been in a relationship where it started out as friends. We were friends for two years before we got romantically involved. Unfortunately, it didn't work out. But it was fun while it lasted!!!!!!
