  54. As far as I am aware neither "Celephais" nor "Dream-quest" name the
  55. Dreamlands echo(es) of the village; maybe it's called Innsmouth, maybe
  56. it ain't, maybe it's named in some other tale that I haven't read, the
  57. important thing is that it's modelled on an Innsmouth.

  59. According to "Dream-Quest" Kuranes' Gothic manor is in "a small tract
  60. of such countryside in the region east of the city", and the village
  61. is "on the coast nearby", putting them both near but outside the city
  62. of Celephais. Similarly the village is not "surrounding" Trevor Towers.

  64. Are the villages mentioned by the two stories identical? The "Dream-Quest"
  65. village is very much a product of Kuranes' post-death boredom, while the
  66. "Celephais" village was in place long before he died - not that time has
  67. too much meaning in the Dreamlands. Further, the "Dream-Quest" village is
  68. an artefact of the Dreamlands, whereas the "Celephais" village seems to be
  69. more like Lomar - waking-world places that have slowly drifted into the
  70. Dreamlands. If my reasoning is correct, the "Celephais" village would
  71. be called Innsmouth, simply because it is one with the Cornish fishing-
  72. village.

  74. This suggests there are at least 4 Innsmouths, 2 in the waking world
  75. on either side of the Atlantic and 2 in the Dreamlands, one of which
  76. is a folly, possibly known under some other name.
