  16. He did very little recording with the Guild because he couldn't get the
  17. same sound with it on record as he could with the Gretsch 6120. The Gretsch
  18. was used almost all of his records except for the few acoustic things and
  19. several early songs that were done on a Danelectro 6-string bass.
