- The idea of putting a graphical adventure on a handheld with such a small
- capacity limit is just plain stupid. There is nowhere near enough room
- to store very many screens, even given the Lynx's small resolution requirements.
-
- Eye of the Beholder is another matter entirely. The graphics for each room you
- are in in EotB are not original for that room but derived from other graphics.
- This saves on lots of space and will allow for a much bigger dungeon area.
- Sure, it's somewhat repetitive, but it is on the PC as well. It's still fun.
-
- As for Guardians (just to jump back a couple threads), I actually played a
- small segment of it back at CES last May. Why oh why would the drop a game
- that (by the end of the year) must have been almost entirely complete? It's
- not even the same style of game as EotB. Plus, I would bet that many people
- would buy BOTH! Ugh.
