  20. They've not been convicted, they've been charged.  As with most people charged
  21. with felonies, this means that they are held in jail until their trial, unless
  22. they can post bond as surety that they won't skip town.

  24. The children were placed in foster care when they were found alone in the
  25. house.  Whether the parents get to look after their children again is up to a
  26. court to decide.
