- Well, LSD stands for (looking back in my memory):
- Lysergic Saure N,N-Diethylamide... Saure (I think I'm spelling it right) is
- German for acid. As for whether it's easy to make, well, that depends. It
- could be made in a high-school laboratory, but most likely not by a casual
- student. It is a lot more complex than most things done in high-school
- chemistry... Try college level (maybe third or fourth year) organic
- chemistry.
- As for a synthesis, there are a number floating around, and you could
- probably go to your local library to find them all (I know, because that's
- exactly what I did). Not something I have on hand to share with you
- though...
