- Note also that textual analysis confirms that Luke and Acts were written
- by the same author, and the author indicates at the beginning of Acts
- that Luke was written first.

- A note on non-traditional authors: as I understand it, it wasn't uncommon
- for a student to record the "master's" teachings. IE Plato's writings
- speak of Socrates (whose existence is questioned by some scholars) and
- Aristotle's speak of Plato. "Gospel of Matthew" might have been the
- "Gospel as was taught by Matthew"...ie "Gospel of Matthew".
