- Boutros Boutros Ghali is from the Anglophile elite of Egypt. I would
- recommend a couple of books by and about his suicidal-depressive-novelist
- kid brother Waguih Ghali for an insight into his background: Waguih's novel
- "Beer in the Snooker Club" (published by Serpent's Tail) and Diana Athill's
- "After a Funeral" (first published in the UK and once available in
- paperback there; reprinted in the US by Ticknor & Fields in 1986). Prepare
- for a few hundred pages of unremitting spleen and misery. I doubt whether
- Boutros Boutros is very happy that these books are in circulation.

- He's an American millionaire with dual US-Serbian citizenship and supposed
- to be the richest Serb alive. More an organ-grinder than a monkey, I'd think.
