  40. Thanks for the advice.  I have used that method, both dry (many tearing
  41. sounds and pulling of hair) and wet (less tearing, but some and wrinkled
  42. labels, even pressing between books).  BTW wax paper was better than
  43. towels, which would stick to the adhesive.

  45. Has anyone tried any solvents for this purpose?  I would love to have a
  46. poster made of all the labels I have consumed (actually the contents
  47. thereof).

  50. myself.  It worked beautifully]
