  20. Forgetting about GM (as I have not looked into it yet), but with my background
  21. in optics, I would guess that the refractive index of the university is
  22. changing.

  24. If this is the case, then energy would not be lost, but explains the change in
  25. frequency of the wavelenght being considered (sorry if i misinterrupted your
  26. question).
