- I found out in college that math textbooks weren't my cup of tea,
- but I find that mass market books such as Ivars Peterson's "Mathematical
- Tourist" and "Islands of Truth" were not technical enough. Does anyone
- have any suggestions for books that are between these two positions in
- level of difficulty. My main interests are topology, differential geometry,
- algebra, and computation theory. Actually, most any area will be OK
- except for probability, statistics, and numerical analysis. Thanks.
