- The main (only) problem with this is excessive heat. I had a kitchen fixture
- expode once when I had replaced 60 watt bults with 100's. Since yours is
- constructed with glass, I'd be a little wary. I have a 500 watt halogen
- floor torchaire now and it raises the temperature of the entire room signif-
- icantly when it is operating. 12 inches from drywall and wood may not be
- enough for absolute safety here.
