  12. Y'know, this is such a common problem, I wonder why nobody has ever made
  13. commercially a socket with a snap-switch built-in, and an extra integrated
  14. wire down the length of the whole string.  Make detecting a physically 
  15. missing bulb a, er, snap.  No pun intended.
