- Since my earlier post about Saucony vs. Asics drew no response, I'll
- phrase the question a little more generally. Is anyone aware of any
- studies that have been done comparing the various shock absorption
- technologies (GRID vs. Gel vs. ARC vs. Air) to determine their relative
- effectiveness, possibly from an engineering standpoint? How much is
- hype and how much is based in fact?
-
- Does anyone have personal experience switching to one of these types
- of shoes and noticing a significant improvement in shock absorption,
- particularly with longer (>20-mile) runs?
