- I've heard that early GTV6's had brass valve guides that were NOT very
- durable. Does anyone know when Alfa switched to iron guides? I'm
- thinking of buying an '82 (it's got 90K miles) and would like to know
- if I'll need to have the guides replaced. The person who owns it know
- hasn't hadany problems with them in 70K miles, so I assume they've been
- changed, but I'm curious.
-
- Any information would be greatly appreciated!
-
- Thanks!
