- Today I noticed that part of the digital dash in my '88 Beretta GT is
- fading. The gauges (oil press., fuel, battery voltage) are the "normal"
- brightness as well as the odometer and the tach graph. The MPH graph and
- numeric MPH indicator seem to be dimmer than the rest of the dash. The
- situation is the same if the lights are on and I vary the intensity
- of the dash lighting.
-
- I assume that this is the beginning of a failure. How do go about determining
- the cause of this problem? Do the digital dashes just need to be replaced?
- If so, how much are the dealers gonna charge me?
-
- Thanks!
