- This is totally normal, all cars do this, they are supposed to do this,
- don't worry about it unless it gets really low. See your owners manual

- Oil pressure increasing as engine RPM increases (up to a certain RPM
- where the pressure gets to a preset limit) means that the oil pump is
- working just fine. Major engine wear (in the case of small block chevies,
- most likely the cam bearings) will show up as very low idle oil pressure.
- 23 psi at idle is fine for almost any "stock" engine, tho.
