- I've got a Sony CDC C77ES ($500), and I really like it, but I wish
- I had waited for the new Onkyo 6-disc changers. Very sweet.
- Go for a carousel: magazines may be more convenient, but they make
- A LOT of noise when switching discs, and all that open space inside the
- player just makes me nervous. If that doesn't bother you, the its a toss-up.
- Both types sound as good as any mass-market single player, I just feel that
- the carousel is more user-friendly.
- Stay away from Denons! They are built like your average Yugo, with
- about as much attention to fine engineering. Yamahas are said to be good, as
- are Nakamichis, which you may have trouble finding now, as a new line has
- just been introduced. The CD 3 and CD 2 are changers that hold 6 discs inside
- the player in a little stack that moves up and down to feed the single tray.
- You might be able to get one at closeout prices if you hurry.
- Hope I have been helpful.
