- What is the FAQ based upon? It sounds like it was based upon one person's
- bad experience with an extended warranty, and it is certainly an over
- generalization to say all EW's are bad.
-
- Sound Advice is a Hi-Fi Video chain in Florida and offer EW's for a reasonable
- price. (~2% of the purchases price per year.) Better yet, if you don't use it
- you get credit against a future purchase for the full price of the warranty.
- Sure they get to use your money for a few years, but hey you can't beat that
- deal. (Of course you have to keep your warranties in a safe place.)
-
- Bottom line is ALL EXTENDED WARRANTIES ARE NOT BAD - AND -
-
- ALL EXTENDED WARRANTIES ARE NOT GOOD DEALS
-
-
- Just use your common sense.
