- If you fill up your truck with $39.57 worth of gas, and hand the clerk
- a $50 bill, (and there's no signs posted about accepting large-denomination
- bills), then the clerk can refuse it. You do NOT get a freebie. If,
- however, you hand the clerk a $50 bill and say you don't need any change,
- and the clerk refuses THAT, then maybe you get a freebie. (You could
- also try to buy enough merchandise to make the total $50.00, and pay with
- exact change. If the clerk refuses that, you might get a freebie.)
