  15. Has anybody installed  Demacs to work with Windows 3.1 ? I tried but
  16. failed to do so. This is what I did.

  18. 1. Got the go32.com from ftp.sigmath.osaka-u.ac.jp under
  19. /pub/Msdos/GO32/DPMI.support. Beware, the documentation files are in
  20. Japanese.

  23. 2. Got lha to extract files from *.lzh.

  25. 3. Extracted files.

  27. 4. Copied go32.com to the directory where I had temacs and loadup.el
  28. (From GNU Emacs distribution)

  30. 5. Executed 
  31. go32 temacs -batch -l loadup.el dump
  32.  
  33. 6. My system (486 based IBMPC) stopped responding.

  36. Does anybody what I might be doing wrong ?
