  21. I love to see this happen that Amancio turns everything I say into the
  22. opposite and against me personally. And also note that I did said any word
  23. about my contributions here, this is expilicitly about somebody elses
  24. contributions, which I'm really missing named.

  26. What drives me really crazy, most of them time when he posts something,
  27. he doesn't answer the question asked (see this recent ET4000 vs. ET4000/W32
  28. thread) instead he tells everybody how great his XS3 is. Besides this, read
  29. carefully his reply to my posting. What I said was basically:

  31.         - He talk on the net as if he was the only one doing XS3 alone
  32.         - The S3's graphics eingine differes only in one register from
  33.           a 8514/A

  35. What he answered was:

  37.         - The README contains other names
  38.         - The S3's SVGA registers differ from that of a 8514/A (which is
  39.           natural since the 8514/A has no SVGA registers)

  41. See, what I mean ? There is no relation between questioning and anserwering.

  51. Implicitely you all seem to strengthen only my point here. Amancio's work 
  52. on XS3 is really great, not doubt about this. But one should also see behind
  53. the curtain and see there that XS3 is based on a working 8514/A server. 
  54. And doing the 8514/A server from scratch is much more work and deserves
  55. much more credits than 'just' doing the hw specific initialisation of
  56. just another mostly 8514/A compatible chipset. I just wanted to remind
  57. people about this.

  61. PS: My oppionions about Amancio might be pretty much influenced by how
  62.     he articlulates himself in private e-mail communiction about real
  63.     issues. If somebody writes in a technical discussion if he's out of
  64.     arguments 'Fuck you', what would you think of him ?
