  19. It's not a scandal, it's a lawsuit which has not yet been settled.
  20. BSDI (the company) is still distributing its BSD/386 product.  The
  21. University of California Berkeley is still distributing its 386BSD
  22. package (agate.berkeley.edu).  Linux, which isn't based on any AT&T
  23. code is totally free and available.

  25. At one time a SysV was available with compiler for $600.  I don't know
  26. if that's still true.
