- I have a tape (8mm) which I am assured has ASCII data on it. This was written
- using an unknown application on an IBM PC. I now want to read the data using
- a DECStation 5000. Is there any command/utility that will allow me in effect
- to say "Read whatever's on the tape, and dump it to a binary disk file"?
-
- Thanks for any suggestions
