- | Anyone know if DELL can do the same? I am intrested in adding a second drive,
- | but I want to slowly make the transition to SCSI.
-
- Dell will handle a mixture of SCIS, IDE, MFM, RLL, ESDI, etc, with one
- caveat: the system will boot off the non-SCSI drive. Now, it's not
- *totally* impossible to boot off the SCSI, but you have to do some
- tricks to get there from here. As long as you're willing to boot
- non-SCSI you should have no problem. Just install on the boot disk and
- then create the stuff for the 2nd following the manual on "adding a 2nd
- hard drive or controller."
