- Dear All,
-
- I have a problem, and Its pretty urgent (aren't they all).
- (So I've cross posted, sorry: comp.sys.misc comp.sys.sun.adm "".misc
- comp.unix.admin comp.unix.misc)
-
- The problem is with a sun4 IPC running SunOS 4.1.1 (BSD 4.3).
- During boot up it comes up with an mbufs map full error... this appears
- to cause general IO fails due to lack of memory.
-
- Firstly the kernal is unaltered .... and theirs plenty disk space on / /usr
- etc...
-
- so why has the error occured and what will stop it and thus allow the
- machine to boot up correctly... (it fails on rc.local due to memory problems).
-
- Many thanks in advance,
-
