  12. I would like to enable the centro-parallel port printer
  13. after the system was booted.

  15. My laser beam printer consumes huge electricity,
  16. so I would like to keep it power off.

  18. I guess the kernel, when it boots, try to decide if the printer
  19. is connected alive or death. But I hope the printer daemon to
  20. watch everytime of its trial of opening the printer if it is
  21. on line.

  23. I tried lpc command to use "restart all" by super user, in vain.

  25. If anyone has the fix for this, please let me know.

  27. The sony workstation at its earlier version of OS had the
  28. same problem , but newer os was improved to accept the printer 
  29. to switch on after the system has booted up.
