- I would like to enable the centro-parallel port printer
- after the system was booted.
-
- My laser beam printer consumes huge electricity,
- so I would like to keep it power off.
-
- I guess the kernel, when it boots, try to decide if the printer
- is connected alive or death. But I hope the printer daemon to
- watch everytime of its trial of opening the printer if it is
- on line.
-
- I tried lpc command to use "restart all" by super user, in vain.
-
- If anyone has the fix for this, please let me know.
-
- The sony workstation at its earlier version of OS had the
- same problem , but newer os was improved to accept the printer
- to switch on after the system has booted up.
