  10. I am having problems with untarring files I keep getting a directory checksum
  11. error? what does this mean I downloaded the files as binary and they seem to
  12. uncompress fine (although I am having problems uncompressing gcc 2.3.1 I get a
  13. coare dump).  I seem to be able to tar and untar files that are allready on the
  14. machine but have troubles with archived files.  I would appreciate any help as
  15. I would really like to get gcc and other programs running, thanks heaps
  16.
