  27. You are better off doing: "chdev -l rmt0 -a blocksize=0"
  28. This sets the tape up as variable length.  the advantage here is that
  29. mksysb under v3.2 will setup your boot tape to work properly.  It
  30. will setthe blocksize to 512 for the first 3 files needed to bopot from
  31. tape and then switch back to a larger blocksize for the tar command
  32. that backs up the entire rootvg.  This is what we do and have no 
  33. problems.  The nice thing is you can fit more on the tape.
