- When I preprocess a file that does a lot of including and a lot of defining, I
- get the following message:
-
- 1288-228: (S) System resource has been exhausted. Preprocessing ended.
-
- We've increased the amount of paging space many times, but the error still
- occurs. File descriptors would not seem to be the problem as I am able to
- open 2000 of them.
-
- IBM support (so far) has been unable to tell us what is running out.
-
- If someone does know, please let me know.
-
- Thanks,
- Rick
