- I find the following statement in README.xlc, where it states that it
- also can apply to xlp and xlf. It's not in README.xlf, and I've no idea
- whether it could apply to an error in fpp. Is your paging space low?
-
- 6) RUNNING LOW ON PAGE SPACE: If AIX runs low on page space during
- a compilation, the compiler tries to issue the message
- "1501-229 Compilation ended due to lack of space".
- However, in some cases the compiler may issue the message
- "1501-224 fatal error in X: signal 9 received",
- where X is either /usr/lpp/xlf/bin/xlfentry, /usr/lpp/xlc/bin/xlcentry,
- or /usr/lpp/xlp/lib/xlpentry.
