  15.   So I had an idea, checked to see that no-one else was running a
  16. similar list, got a few names, put them in a file, pointed an
  17. alias in /usr/local/lib/mail/aliases to the file, and told the world.
  18.    I'm on a Sun running Sun OS 4.1.x and I'm root.

  20. 1) Is there a FAQ anywhere on this? I have searched gopherspace and 
  21.    found only BITNET/LISTSERV FAQ's
  22.  
  23. 2) What list software is available for Unix? Is there anything better than
  24.    doing it by hand but smaller than running Unix listserv software?

  26. 3) is there a list or group for maintainers of lists? Again, I have
  27.    found  resources for BITNET only.
