- Hi!
-
- I am wondering if it is possible to finger someone and find out what that
- person is doing. As for as I know, finger uses lastlog and stuff but "w"
- uses ps and related stuff to get the info. So, is it really possible to
- merge both finger and w into one? Is there any program like that that is
- already in use?
-
- This is because I was getting a mail from someone (kind of harassing) telling
- me what I am doing! This person was on a remote machine and I can tell that
- he didn't log in at that time and there was a lot of "fingerd" activity by
- root from his machine! (source : lastcomm)
-
- This is kind of intriguing and I am interested to find out!
-
- E-mail would be great!
-
- Thanks
