- The bug I am about to describe could be a generic sendmail bug, but I do not
- have the time or the inclination to find out...
-
- Under SunOS 4.1.1, if two users have identical .forward files and mail is
- sent to both of them (from another machine is how I've done it) then the mail
- only goes to one of them. This would be fine if the .forward contained a
- fowarding address, but when it contains a command, eg.
- "| /usr/local/bin/procmail"
- then you have problems.
-
- Of course it is possible to get around the by giving the command parameters. eg.
- "| /usr/local/bin/procmail /home/parry/.procmailrc"
- but it would have been nice to know this several weeks ago before a lot of
- my mail got lost because some impared software thinks that running the same
- command does the same thing for different users.
