  12. The bug I am about to describe could be a generic sendmail bug, but I do not
  13. have the time or the inclination to find out...

  15. Under SunOS 4.1.1, if two users have identical .forward files and mail is
  16. sent to both of them (from another machine is how I've done it) then the mail
  17. only goes to one of them. This would be fine if the .forward contained a
  18. fowarding address, but when it contains a command, eg.
  19. "| /usr/local/bin/procmail"
  20. then you have problems.

  22. Of course it is possible to get around the by giving the command parameters. eg.
  23. "| /usr/local/bin/procmail /home/parry/.procmailrc"
  24. but it would have been nice to know this several weeks ago before a lot of
  25. my mail got lost because some impared software thinks that running the same
  26. command does the same thing for different users.
