- Hi All,
-
- We are using Sunlink X.25 7.0 for communications around the globe.
- Currently we route packets via a psuedo-net that looks something
- like this :
-
- My machine locally is
- 129.228.8.238 ittc
- 192.9.150.138 sts-x25ip
- 192.9.150.238 ittc-x25ip
-
- Remotely I communicate with a machine with
- 192.9.150.238 ittc-x25ip # TCP/IP through X25 ITTC
- 192.9.150.138 sts-x25ip # TCP/IP through X25 STS
- 129.228.43.1 sts1 loghost # Server D113 x821
-
- What we would like to do is the following:
- Somehow have my machine 'know' that 129.228.43.XXX lives out in X.25
- land without using the psuedo-net 192.9.150.XXX, as I am sure you
- can tell the 192.9.150.XXX is not a valid registered IP address and
- so we would like to do away with it. Has anyone else out there had
- any success with this? Currently my 'X.25 gate' looks like this :
-
- fpb@ittc:emacs128==>netstat -r
- Routing tables
- Destination Gateway Flags Refcnt Use Interface
- localhost localhost UH 3 276921 lo0
- sun-B-ether ittc U 39 7578009 ie0
- x-25-synca ittc-x25ip U 0 1928 std0
-
- Where x-25-sync is 192.9.150 and sun-B-ether is 129.228.8.
-
- Please send email. I will summarize if a lot of interest is
- generated.
