  23. Interesting. Sun claims they only have the GUI-based version in 2.1. Are
  24. you sure you aren't thinking of vanilla SVR4?

  26. I would also like to point out (as I have been pointing out to Sun for over
  27. a year) that quite a lot of sites have only ASCII terminal consoles on their 
  28. servers (why spend $3K on a bitmapped console that isn't needed?). It's rather
  29. difficult to do high-level administration on a server in single-user mode if 
  30. there is no ASCII interface to the necessary tools.

  32. Of course, I've also been told that admintool really doesn't cover very much
  33. yet so you might as well just do it all by hand anyway ...

  35. Clearly the administration tools provided have a long way to go, but Sun is
  36. aware of that.
