- Hi,
-
-
- I've got NetWare 3.11 and Novell SAA (1.2?) up and running acting as a
- gateway for our Novell clients to use PC Support with our AS/400.
-
- PC Support is running fine.
-
- However, our internal application (which works fine on vanilla pc/support)
- is unable to access the Peer application on the AS/400. The "send"
- verb returns a 0x19 (Session level security). OS/400 won't start the
- peer application; It logs an error 715,0 into the sysoper message queue.
- 715 is "incorrect user-id/password or invalid/insufficient user profile".
-
- I don't believe this is correct; My user-id and password are valid, and
- I can run the peer application fine from a vanilla PC-Support client.
-
-
- One thing of note; The APPC connection from the NOVELL server to the
- AS400 is set to autogen the Device and Controller; These are created fine,
- the session, however, is never created.
-
-
- General information:
-
- The AS400 boots at security level 20.
-
- The NOVELL server and PC Support, again, all work fine.
-
-
- I'm really puzzled, and I'm not very strong in the OS400 environment. If
- anyone has run into this sort of thing, or knows where to begin looking,
- I'd be really grateful.
-
-
- Please e-mail all responses as I don't normally read this newsgroup, and
- our site expires news very quickly.
