  32. I have been informed that I'm also a bit off.  Apparently NeXTOS is built
  33. atop a particular revision of Mach (2.[23]) and is not really a micro-kernel
  34. OS.

  36. At least in this regard, it is very similar to SunOS.  (Thank goodness it's
  37. not similar in some other aspects ;-)

  39. I took my (limited) knowledge about what Mach claims to be and the fact that
  40. NeXTOS is built upon Mach - the unfortunate discrepancy in Mach's history
  41. caused the problem.

  43. Now, I didn't claim to be an OS/kernel guru, so I can get away with this
  44. mistake, right? ;-)
