- You wouldn't believe how many headhunters call me in search of
- NeXTSTEP programmers. (UIUC is fed heavily by students who are from
- the Chicago area, and that is where much of the activity is, of
- course).
- Because our CS department believes in Suns and plain-jane C, I have
- had to tell them 'well, you can wait until the 3 people I know who
- have written anything in NeXTSTEP graduate in 2 years!'. (This is
- changing rapidly on our campus with the addition of 60 new public
- lab machines this past summer, however)
