  12. I have a mono 25 MHz slab with a 200 MB drive and 20 MB
  13. memory, and I am considering installing an external
  14. hard drive.  The stockroom here has a Seagate ST 3283N
  15. drive with about 244 MB of storage, so all told I'd end
  16. up with 440 MB.  I'd like a bigger drive, but money is
  17. an issue.  My questions are:

  19.    o Is splitting storage between two drives a
  20.      good thing to do?
  21.  
  22.    o Are there any known problems with this particular
  23.      drive?  (Excessive noise, installation problems).
  24.  
  25.    o The data sheet says it has a "fast SCSI-2"
  26.      interface.  Does that do me any good?
