- I have a mono 25 MHz slab with a 200 MB drive and 20 MB
- memory, and I am considering installing an external
- hard drive. The stockroom here has a Seagate ST 3283N
- drive with about 244 MB of storage, so all told I'd end
- up with 440 MB. I'd like a bigger drive, but money is
- an issue. My questions are:
-
- o Is splitting storage between two drives a
- good thing to do?
-
- o Are there any known problems with this particular
- drive? (Excessive noise, installation problems).
-
- o The data sheet says it has a "fast SCSI-2"
- interface. Does that do me any good?
-
- Thanks for your help.
