  13.    A correction to my first posting...

  15.    Due to a wrongly-named application icon, I erred in saying that we were 
  16.    running Word v 4.0b14 when we experienced the dreaded asterisks-in-your-
  17.    document.  We really, truly, are running 4.0 (yes ... it's old).  
  18.    Hopefully we can fully switch the lab over to Word 5.0 in the near future.  
  19.    I hope that will resolve this situation.
