- I ran some PC-clone benchmark programs last night that I got from a clone-drone
- friend of mine. I have a IIsi and SoftAT, and I was curious...
- Well, the results were many and varied, but here's the poop:
- My IIsi was rated to be between approximately 200% - 550% faster than a
- 4.77 MHz 8088-based original IBM PC. A different benchmark program said I have
- the equivalent of a 10 MHz 8088 in my machine. Well, I thought that was kind
- of funny, and I thought others might like to know what kind of a PC my mac
- really is...
- BTW, I wonder how a Quadra would do on these tests? Anyone with a Quadra and
- SoftAT who would like to try, I would be glad to email the benchmark programs.
