  12. I must share my excitement (and apprehension) with you.

  14. I have just been awarded a DOE appointment in the Science and
  15. Research Semester (SERS) program at Battelle, Pacific Northwest
  16. Laboratories!  I am very excited, this is the chance of a lifetime!
  17. (But I digress...)

  19. I need to know about the housing situation near Battelle.  Actually,
  20. I need to know *anything* about that area.  I can't wait to start,
  21. but I need a place to live.  Any leads, suggestions, hints,
  22. contacts (anybody lonely?) would be greatly appreciated!
