- I have a PowerBook 100 with a verrrrrry small 20MB hard drive. The
- hard drive size reported by the Finder is 18.6MB. I've read articles
- in this newsgroup that say Apple doesn't format hard drives to full
- capacity. Does anyone know why they do that? I'm thinking about
- backing up my hard drive and reformatting it to get the extra space
- (hey -- every megabyte counts on this small of a hard drive). Before
- I do that, is the Apple supplied SCSI formatter on the 7.01 disks able
- to format the entire disk, or will I end up with the same capacity that
- I have now? I'd appreciate any tips about reformatting the hard drive
- that you can supply to a (computer literate) Mac novice.
-
- Thanks,
- Bryan
