- Problem:
-
- MacII with Rocket25
- 8 megs on board
- 2 megs on mac logic board
-
- All third party control panels and extensions removed (only the raw Apple's
- remain)
-
- Syquest cartridge drive connected and terminated
- Internal 40 meg drive included as well
-
- The syquest drive mounts with no difficulties.
- The syquest drive reads and writes with no difficulties
- The syquest unmounts (drag to the trash) with no difficulties
-
- BUT the computer locks up whent the eject button is pushed on the syquest
- box.
-
- Note: the above test was reconstructed with the RAM back on the Mac logic
- board and the Rocket removed. Everything worked perfectly.
-
- I even tried a different syquest drive (as well as different SCSI ID numbers)
-
- It has to be something to do with the eject button process ????? in
- conjunction with the Rocket. Perhaps something to do with termination????
-
- anyone out there?
