  13. MacII with Rocket25
  14. 8 megs on board
  15. 2 megs on mac logic board

  17. All third party control panels and extensions removed (only the raw Apple's
  18. remain)
  19.  
  20. Syquest cartridge drive connected and terminated
  21. Internal 40 meg drive included as well
  22.  
  23. The syquest drive mounts with no difficulties.
  24. The syquest drive reads and writes with no difficulties
  25. The syquest unmounts (drag to the trash) with no difficulties
  26.  
  27. BUT  the computer locks up whent the eject button is pushed on the syquest
  28. box.

  30. Note: the above test was reconstructed with the RAM back on the Mac logic
  31. board and the Rocket removed. Everything worked perfectly.

  33. I even tried a different syquest drive (as well as different SCSI ID numbers)
  34.  
  35. It has to be something to do with the eject button process ????? in
  36. conjunction with the Rocket. Perhaps something to do with termination????
