  17. I have a NEC 3D and a 5FG monitor, and neither one will work
  18. as an external monitor with my PB160.  Both works fine with my IIci
  19. (with either the internal video or a RasterOps 24STV card).

  21. I've used Compaq VGA monitor here at work as an external monitor
  22. so I believe that the PB isn't broken.

  24. I am assuming that the problem is with the cabling/connector between
  25. the PB and the NEC monitor.  I sort of remember somebody else posted
  26. a message concerning NEC monitors and how they were wired, but
  27. cannot find it.

  29. Does anybody know how I can get the NEC monitors to work?  Any info
  30. would be mucho appreciated :-)

  32. Also I was wondering if it is possible to control the brightness
  33. level thru software? (I imagine it is).  The slider control on my
  34. PB seems to have only 2 positions - either completely off or full
  35. brighness.  It'd be nice to be able to control the level thru a control
  36. panel or something.
