- Hi.
-
- I have a NEC 3D and a 5FG monitor, and neither one will work
- as an external monitor with my PB160. Both works fine with my IIci
- (with either the internal video or a RasterOps 24STV card).
-
- I've used Compaq VGA monitor here at work as an external monitor
- so I believe that the PB isn't broken.
-
- I am assuming that the problem is with the cabling/connector between
- the PB and the NEC monitor. I sort of remember somebody else posted
- a message concerning NEC monitors and how they were wired, but
- cannot find it.
-
- Does anybody know how I can get the NEC monitors to work? Any info
- would be mucho appreciated :-)
-
- Also I was wondering if it is possible to control the brightness
- level thru software? (I imagine it is). The slider control on my
- PB seems to have only 2 positions - either completely off or full
- brighness. It'd be nice to be able to control the level thru a control
- panel or something.
-
- thanxs.
