- Well, I do know that I and quite a few others have had trouble with Before
- Dark, since it modifies the system file to put the new ppat in, and
- sometimes messes it up in the process. I'm using EM right now, and haven't
- had any problems (except one REALLY nasty one yesterday--my machine
- wouldn't boot, and kept kicking out system disks. But that fixed
- itself...) thus far. Besides, EM only moves stuff from folder to folder.
- And, with BD, I don't think it could have messed up your Volume Info
- Blocks, since (I believe) it only messes with the system. The docs that
- come with it recommend making a copy of your system file before you mess
- around. After learning the hard way several times, I've made one, and when
- something messes up and I can't boot, I chuck a system folder in, trash the
- old system file, put the new one in place, and VOILA! Dandy again. Much
- better than re-installing the system.
