  25. Well, I do know that I and quite a few others have had trouble with Before
  26. Dark, since it modifies the system file to put the new ppat in, and
  27. sometimes messes it up in the process.  I'm using EM right now, and haven't
  28. had any problems (except one REALLY nasty one yesterday--my machine
  29. wouldn't boot, and kept kicking out system disks.  But that fixed        
  30. itself...) thus far.  Besides, EM only moves stuff from folder to folder.
  31. And, with BD, I don't think it could have messed up your Volume Info
  32. Blocks, since (I believe) it only messes with the system.  The docs that
  33. come with it recommend making a copy of your system file before you mess
  34. around.  After learning the hard way several times, I've made one, and when
  35. something messes up and I can't boot, I chuck a system folder in, trash the
  36. old system file, put the new one in place, and VOILA!  Dandy again.  Much
  37. better than re-installing the system.
