- Howdy. I am planning on purchasing a IIci soon through Berkeley's computer
- center. Anyway, I am considering what stuff is useful to get at this
- point.
-
- Two possible configurations:
- Mac IIci 5/80, 16" Apple monitor w/ DoubleColor SX Graphics Card
- Mac IIci 5/230,14" Apple monitor, 8*24 Apple graphics card
-
- Any comments on which is better? or on what other stuff I should get to
- get the system optimized in about this price range? I am not into pirating
- and don't have enough money to buy tons of software and I don't collect
- graphics, so disk space doesn't need to be maximized, but I expect to use
- stuff like Textures and Think C (etc).
-
- How worthwhile is the 16" and the graphics card in question?
-
- (I don't need the graphics card for the 14", but extra colors... and it
- has the VRAM onboard, right?--how much speed improvement?)
-
-
- Thanks for any advice,
-
