  12. HELP!!!       ...there, that's better.

  14. My SE/30's display is slowly dying.  After it warms up, the 
  15. display will dim until it's at about 50% brightness.  After 
  16. a variable period of time, the display will brighten back 
  17. up.  This cycle will continue ad nauseum.  That's it; there
  18. are no other symptoms.

  20. It is sometimes possible to cause to return by gently
  21. tapping the machine.  This doesn't always work and it
  22. doesn't matter where it is tapped.

  24. I am looking for information that will allow me to determine
  25. which components are failing.  The actual repairs are not
  26. hard IF you know what to replace.
